Nissan Repair: Noisey Sliding Door/Glass in sliding door, rough pavement, nissan quest

Question
I just purchased a pre-owned 2005 Nissan Quest. The problem is with the right sliding door (which is not a power door). When going over any rough roads, rough pavement, etc, the door (or glass in the right door) rattles. Sounded like door rattle was in lower right hand area of door; glass tingling sounds like upper right hand area of glass (around trim). This van has been to a dealer repair shop and two specialists to "adjust" door and also place "tape, insulation, etc) inside the door trim and panels. Now sounds like door rattle is better, but still makes sound of glass tingling when going over rough pavement. I am so frustrated that I cannot stand it. Please help. :O) Van only has 18,000 miles on it. When we press on upper right hand area of glass, appears glass is not as in place as other areas in van. Thanks for your help and if you can recommend a specialist in Tampa, Florida, I am soooo willingly to find them and pay!!

Answer
Dar,

It sounds like the van was wrecked and that is the cause of the noise.  Well, first I would go to a dealer and find a van that is the same year and examine the difference.  The dealer should correct this under warranty since it is not past the 36000 miles.  And, there is a squeak and rattle portion to the service manual.  I would think the hindge is sprung and might need to be replaced.  But, I would go to a dealer and raise heck and get it corrected under warranty.
