Nissan Repair: clutch slave, clutch slave, clutch release

Question
I have a 98 Pathfinder 4WD 5 speed manual trans,76,000 miles. I'm not the main driver of this car so when I do drive it I notice some differences. It seems to me that the clutch is getting harder to press down, I checked the fluid which is o.k. and I've checked for leaks and see none. I have a 2001
Frontier manual trans which has a clutch that is very easy to push down. Is it possible that the clutch slave is going bad, and is there any way to check it?

Answer
Rich,

You could bleed the clutch to be sure.  But, I think the throw out bearing is not sliding properly.  Or, the clutch release fork is hanging up.  So, first bleed the clutch and then, if it does not correct the hard feeling you are looking at taking the transmission out to change the throw out bearing and such.
