Nissan Repair: 2000 Maxima Coils, ground wires, ohm meter

Question
I have a 2000 Maxima. All 3 front coils went bad at once.Looked like they were burned up. So i went ahead an replaced all 6. 2 weeks later same thing happend to the brand new coils from Nissan. I have checked some ground wires with a ohm meter.I cant find a good wiring diagram.I really dont know what is causing these 3 coils to burn up.any ideas?

Did you get the newly designed coil?  If you got the old design they will fail like the originals.  Nissan has a redesigned coil.  I have replaced several of these and have not had problems.  But, you have to ask for the later part number.  Also, go to nissanusa.com and go to the tech section and for $20 bucks you can access the on-line service manual.  You can get wiring diagrams there.
