Nissan Repair: 96 Nisson Sentra Not Cranking when hot, starter solenoid, nisson

Question
After driving my Sentra (Automatic 1.6 ltr) for a while and shutting it off, it won't crank again. All the elctrical system seems to work fine when the ignition switch is turned on, but it doesn't crank. I don't even hear the starter solenoid "click". I can let it sit for a while (45 mins- 1hr) and it will crank just fine.

Answer
Craig,

Check the shift interlock by shifting from park to neutral and back while you are holding the key in the start mode and see if the problem goes away.  If that is not it then I would say the starter is heating up and loosing connection until it cools off and then the car can start again.  These are the two options.
