I have a digital speedometer. It doesn't work all the time. Sometimes it just displays 0. It's very intermittent>

My thought is that the square wave generator switch on the transmission is going out.  Replace your speed sensor on the transmission and you should be fine.  That is, if that is all that is screwing up on the digital dash.

Thank You very much for your reply. Do you happen to know specifically where the sensor is located, i.e. the driver side,passenger side, bottom, or top of the transmission. Thank You Again!

It is on the transmission on the tail housing.  Jack the car up and support it wiht jack stands and chock the wheels.  Get under the car and look where the driveshaft sticks into the transmission and about six inches past that point you will see the sending unit on the side of the tail housing.
