1994 nissan sentra where is it and how do you change the engine water thermostat.

follow the upper radiator hose to the engine block.  The housing that it connects to is the thermostat housing.  Buy a new thermostat from Nissan and a gasket and take the old one off and prelace it with the new one.  The bolts are either eight or ten millimeter bolts.  Refill with a 50/50 mix of antifreeze.  Never backflush the engine as you can wipe out your heater core with the excess pressure and be sure to replace the radiator cap with a new Nissan unit.  Understand that I am not a dealer only guy.  But, when it comes to thermostats and radiator caps Nissan makes really good parts.
