How do I change my belts on a 1997 Nissan Sentra?  I have the four cylinder 1.6 engine.

Buy new belts and replace them by loosening the center pulley bolt on each assessory tension pulley and then loosen the adjustment pulley and remove the belt.  The airconditioner belt is on the outside so this one has to come off first and will be the last to go on.  Do the inner belt and tighten the adjustment bolt and then tighten the center bolt.  You need about an inch and a half of play on the belt.
