Nissan Repair: Windshield Wipers Stopped Working, wiper motor, wiper arm

Question
I have a 1998 LE Pathfinder and on our way down to Florida, the windshield wipers just stopped working.
Do you know why that may be?
Do you think it may have something to do with the battery?
The windshield in the back works fine - just the ones in the front don't work.

First check the fuse and if that is good turn the wipers on and wiggle the wiper arm slightly.  Not too hard!  But, if the brushes are going bad in the wiper motor this should get them going.  If this does not you can get a test light and see if the wipers are getting electricity.  If they are the wiper motor is bad.
