I have a 1995 Nissan Sentra that occasionally experience a starting problem after the car has set for a while (maybe once every six to nine months).  Spark plugs getting fire.  Fuel pump works.  Car turns over normally but will not hit.  It appear engine getting too much gas.  Remove fuse for fuel pump and after motor turns over a couple of times, motor tries to start and my final start.  If you put the fuse back without the car already running, motor will not start.  Once you get car running and reinsert fuse, car continues to run and will restart once car is turn off.  What could create such a stuation?  Thanks

Replace the fues to the fuel pump for starters.  You did not say if you checked the fuel pressure when you turn the key on.  If not please do.  You want a baseline.  But, since the car is a 95 the relay for the fuel pump is probably going out and sometimes it does not make good connection.  When you take the fuse out it resets and works for a few more months.  One of these days it will not.  A relay should cost about $10 bucks so it is cheap insurance.
Follow-Up
Can you tell me where the fuel pump relay for this vehicle is located?  I looked in the relay box under the hood and did not find the relay.  This is were the service manual indicated the relay was located.  I also looked along the fire wall with no luck.  Thanks

Answer
The relay box under the hood should be where the relay is at.  If it is not there there are relays under the dash where the fusebox is.  There are four or five relays there and you will probably have to ask the parts guy at Nissan the location.  I do not have a book for your year model.
