Nissan Repair: how do you change brake pads..., nissan sentra, plunger

Question
how do you change brake pads on a 1988 nissan sentra?

Answer
Eric,

Is it front or Back?

If it is FRONT then do the following:

Just pull off the caliper (which is held on by 2 bolts)
the pads should be just sitting there, just pull them off.

Make sure on your CALIPER there is a PLUNGER..IF this is extended you HAVE TO PUSH THIS IN
ALL
THE
WAY
the best way to do that is to take your cap OFF the brake fluid, then squeeze the plunger in SLOWLY (this way you don't shoot out fluid out of your cylinder)

Next:
once plunger is all the way in, then put new brake pads on, then put caliper back on rotor then put bolts back in it.

IF REAR:
It is hard for me to explain for there is a spring that holds it on.  This makes it more difficult with out actually looking at the spring.
Sorry
