Nissan Repair: Repairing a sagging engine block mount, nissan altima, concequences

Question
During an expensive round of repairs on my 1993 Nissan Altima (133k miles), I was told that my engine was sitting on a sagging mount that needed to be replaced.  I was asked if the car was shaky during idles, but that hasn't been a problem that I've noticed  recently.  I opted to fix the more immediate problems and save the block mount repair for another time.  Do I really need to have this repair done and how long should I wait (or not wait) to get it done? Also what are the concequences for letting this type of repair go unchecked?
Thanks!

Answer
Susan,

Well really, if when your sitting there letting it idle, and the car is NOT vibrating alot, I wouldn't worry about changing the motor mount.

If anything take it to a DIFFERENT shop and have them look at it.  It sounds like the shop you went to is looking to make money, (because your a female) and giving you false info to rake up a bill.

In regards, to consequences, there is none.  Your motor is not going to fall out or do any extensive damage to motor, if this is not changed right away.

Now if you start to feel a STRONG vibration in IDLING, then yes you would want to have it changed, otherwise it is not that important.
