Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1995 Oldsmobile, oldsmobile cutless supreme, evap purge valve

Question
I have a 1995 oldsmobile Cutless Supreme that when I start it it idles @2500RPM-3000RPM and doen't stop until I shut the engine off. What should I do, and do you have any idea what might be wrong with this car?

Sounds like a vacuum leak.
Do you hear a hissing sound also?
If so it is PROBABALLY a vacuum leak.
Check the large tube that attaches the PVC valve to the EVAP purge valve, it crosses ove the top of engine black plastic hose.
The sometimes loose a seal where it attaches to the throttle on top.
