Lexus Repair: High brake light replacement ES300, long hole, light bulb

How do I replace the high brake light bulb on a 1999 ES300? Do I remove the speaker cover from the inside? Thanks much!

uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh I hate those things.
They just pull out with great difficulty from what I remember of them. I normally lay in the trunk & insert a screwdriver in a long hole on the brake light. Then push it off.
That way you have leverage on it & don't beat up the outside of it.
