Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: buick wont start, buick park ave, troubleshooting chart

i have a 1987 buick park ave. it will run 4 a while then stop 1/2 hour latere it starts but now it wont start the grarge said they fix it but it does the same now it wont stsrt at all there is no spark they said they put a new modular an a new cam sener.i pull plugs no spark i put  just 1 new coil in still no spark on the 2 plugs the coil is for there are 3 coils i figure i would get spark on 2 plugs befor i spend any more money boy i dont no what next to ck help please thanks mike

Hi Mike,
First thing to check is power to the module, so check the ign fuse.
If you work on stuff, find where the power wire goes to the coils, and make sure there is power getting to them, both in run, and in start. I am thinking ignition switch if there is no power in start.

A loose wire connection could also cause that.

There are really going to be a lot of possibilities, so a troubleshooting chart would be a good idea.
