Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: buick misfiriing, coolant temp, noid light

Question
I have a 89 buick lesabre with a 3800 v6, my problem is that it misfires in the moring till it gets warmed up then goes away and runs fine. now, I have changed the plugs, wires, module, and the coil pack. I also changed the  coolant temp sensor. I read on the internet here somewhere to check my fuel injectors. I did that today and found that when its cold and misfiring the number 6 injector wire, when pulled off doesn't change the motor, it isn't working. but as soon as it warms up and starts to run smooth, you pull it off it changes like the rest of them... any ideas?

Answer
Hi Todd,
I would invest the time, and swap that injector with one that never misses a lick, and then see if the problem moves with the injector, or if it stays at cyl 6.

If it moves, replace that injector.
If it stays at 6, the fuel rail may not be getting the proper fuel pressure.

It is possible that injector is just leaking down, and that section of the rail fills with air, and acts like a spring for a little while, till the air gets pushed out.
Have you tried a noid light to see if there is pulsed power there when it isn't hitting?
If the wires are long enough to swap injector plug connectors between a couple injectors, try that also, and see if the missing injector stays at 6, or travels with the plug.
Don't wory, the injectors all fire at the same time on that car, not sequentially, and the engine won't know the diff.
