Answer -
It's called an EVAPORATOR CORE and it is located in the dash next to the heater core.

What exactly is wrong with the A/C syustem and explain it in LENGTH.


autohelp I am sorry, you missunderstood the question. Code P0440 is "evaporative emission system malfunction", I am trying to find out where the charcoal canister is located on the car. Thanks Bill.

It is located up under the fenderwell of the vehicle. You will have to get under the car and look up just in front of the inner fender liner near the bumper. Look for 2 or 3 rubber hoses going thru the inner fender well in the engine compartment and follow them to the canister.
