Tom,
We have a 1996 Buick Regal. Recently the dash lights that would light up the speedometer, etc., went out. We have checked fuses inside the car on both passenger and driver sides and under the hood on both sides. Nothing seems to work. Are we not looking in the right place? We're baffled that we can't find a fuse to replace. Any suggestions? Thank you SO much.
Answer -
Did you try turning the dimmer control that brightens and darkens the dash lights ?. Check your owners manual.

Yes, we've tried the dimmer control and everything in the owners manual. We've checked all the bases and still no dash lights.

Answer
OK, Is the display the old style ANALOG or is it a DIGITAL display ?.

Look in the fuse panel for a fuse that says I/P and using a test light you should have battery voltage on BOTH side of the fuse. As you rotate the dimmer control one side of the fuse should get BRIGHTER and DIMMER as you rotate the dimmer control.
