Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1997 le sabre automatically unlocking, buick le sabre, shopping center

Question
have 1997 buick le sabre 42000 miles.  i can use remote and lock doors or manually lock doors. go check on car later and doors are unlocked. it happens at home, at work at shopping center.  sometimes it is still locked the next morning but the majority of the time, it is unlocked. a sensor is malfunctioning?

Answer
It could be a fault within the transmitter as it may be unlocking the doors on it's own.

Try using a different transmitter and or just try squeezing, hitting tapping on the transmitter without actually hitting the UNLOCK button and see if it malfunctions and unlocks the doors.
