Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: how to replace front struts/92 buick park ave., buick park ave, dollors

could you tell me how to replace the front struts,on a 1992 buick park ave?I was told i will not need a spring compressor.I have a lot of tools,do i need any specialty tools?I have worked on cars for approx 35 yrs,/backyard/shadetree type stuff,so i know my way around pretty good.any advice would help.thank you.

yes you will need a spring comp. they sell this tool for 25 dollors at rhw parts store . to remove the struts jack the car up remove the front wheels you will have to pull the cover under the hood . remove the 3 bolts . then thire is two bolts on the botton of the strut . and they will come out. and then you will need to have the spring comp. after that easy street make sure when you install spring back they are in right postion  good luck to u if you need any more help just let me know . and please rate my serivice pete
