Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: How To Check Leaking Injectors, fuel pressure, good car

Hello, I have a 1989 99 olds royal, the fuel pressure on a fule pressure check does not hold pressure I installed new pressure regulator, how do you check for leaking injectors? could it be leaking back throught the fuel pump?

hi todd,no if the regulator is good car not running pressure should remain for awhile it will eventually leak down but should hold for half hour or so.if it is leaking down and you are sure the guage is not bad.then the injectors is certainly a possibility.remove the injectors.pressureize system watch injectors if they are leaking you will see .my assumption is that they are atleast one.good luck please vote for me billymac
