Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1985 Calais Oldsmobile starting problems, brother inlaw, computer module

my brother-inlaw changed plugs and wires and distributor cab and coil and computer module and car engine turns with back firing but won't start all the way and ran fine before changing to new parts, What's the problem?

hi teresea, lol well don,t be so hard on brother nlaw.this is a complicated job.most likely the wire are crossed the coils are numbered the wires have to go to the right spot on the coil.cyl # from front to back 1234- fireing order is 1342 try this and let me know billymac
