Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: electric door locks, olds cutlass, dead battery

Question
olds. cutlass, 1994 the problem is that the interior lights stay on after i leave the car. this results in a dead battery the next morning.
tonight i disconnected the battery lead.
can you tell me where to disconnect the whole system, or what to do to clear up this problem?

It seems like somewhere a connection must be loose,or corroded, as often while driving and hie a bump, or coss rr tracks the system will click, and the doors will lock and the lights will go out.   any help will be a blessing   gene

Answer
hi gene, well first you want to check all the door switches.one may be stuck.next make sure the switch that turns tour dome light on is working properly.if all is ok then the headlight switch is most likely failed.the simple solution would be to pull the fuse.it may not be marked as int lights prob.acc or something else pull the fuses one at a time and when they go out .be sure everything else is working and leave fuse out.good luck please take a sec to rate my service ty billymac
