Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Air Bubbles in Oil, oldsmobile cutlass ciera, blown head gasket

Question
Hello.I own a 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera, 6 cyl.,3.3 L.I recently had a major tune up on the car and it runs fine now.I notice there is a few air bubbles in the oil and transmission fluid.I am certain I don't have a blown head gasket. Is it cause for alarm?I have not had the oil or TF changed yet.Thank you.

Answer
hi elizabeth, well liz a few air bubbles is nothing to worry about ,now a lot of bubbles indicates over filling.but i wouldn,t worry as long as thelevels are full and the fluids are clean.the trans fluid should red and the oil just shouldn,t be black ,and should run off the stick like syrup not water.if you stay close to the schedule of changes your oil will be fine.rule of thumb liz if it aint broke don,t fix it lol.good luck and relax your car is fine   billymac
