QuestionI have a 2000 oldsmobile alero. My car stalls on cold mornings, and yes i let it warm up, it acts as if it either isn't getting gas or getting too much. I have had the fuel filter, plugs, and a new fuel pump put on. It still is doing it. You can tap on the bar next to the gas tank and it will start. Any ideas what to do next?

I don't work on Aleros, but it sounds like the ground for the pump may be loose or dirty. On trucks, there is a wire that bolts to the frame, and it must be clean and tight, making good contact, or the pump won't run.
I can only assume an Alero has a ground like that also.
