Pontiac Repair: Pontiac Torrent / brake warning light

I have a 2006 Pontiac Torrent and the brake warning light comes on periodically when it gets cold outside.  The exact same thing happened at this same time last year.  Any ideas?  Thank you!

Hi Laverne:

well if it one goes on when it's cold and you only have the red warning light chances are the fluid in the master cylinder is low either due to a leak or brake pad wear. as the fluid warms up it expands and then turns the light off. good luck :-)
