Pontiac Repair: 2002 Grand Am door lock problem, door latch, fuse box

I have a 2002 Grand Am and whenever I lock the doors on it, the rear driver side door stays unlocked. It seems to be trying to lock but it seems like its hanging up on something. So to be able to lock the door, I have to manually lock the door. Could the motor be bad in the lock? Please help!

it's one of 2 things is you can physically see the lock trying to move or put your ear upto the door and can hear it clicking but it will not unlock it's more then likley a bad acatutor in the door latch. the other thing it could be is if this car has a sunroof the roof may be leaking down the trim and into the left fuse box on the side of the dash board and the relays for the door lock may be corroded.
