Hello I have a 98 firebird 3800.at first it would run fine but act as if it had bad gas in it.then problem got worse and lose power and kill but crank back up.now it won't start at all.a year ago we change plugs wires corels. For this we started with the fuel pump then changed crankshaft position sensor then running chain all still doing the same thing engin will turn over but not start .we poped a plug wire off and stuck a
Screwdriver between there and got no shock...I'm running out of ideas and money can u maybe help ?

Answer
Hi Joshua:

I would invest in a repair manual before you start throwing more money into this and just guessing stay away from Haynes manuals. Try Motor or Chilton I would lean towards an ignition module or wiring to the module if you have no spark. Is it (-) spark on all 3 coils or just 1 or 2? does it have injector pulse? How about fuel pressure? Good luck :-)
