Pontiac Repair: 2007 pontiac montana, pontiac montana, hvac unit

Question
My 2007 pontiac montana has rear air and heat. However, there is no air movement, so it seems the blower is not working. Front works fine. It is not the fuse. Where is the blower located, so I can check it for power etc. Any other ideas for a solution?

Hi michael:

the raer HVAC unit is all the way in the back of the van on the drivers side. you need to remove all the interior trim panels to gain access to the blower motor. just unplug the 2 wire connector going to the motor and use a 12 volt test light across the 2 wires with the rear fan on Hi the lamp should light bright if it does the motor is bad. If not then possably the resistor for the motor is bad.
