Pontiac Repair: 2003 pontiac grand prix heater, pontiac grand prix, fan switch

Question
Hi. I have a 2003 Pontiac grand prix and the heater controls do not work on level 1 through 4 but still comes on when it want to on level 5...after reading many posts it was clear the blower resistor needed to be replaced, well that didn't fix the problem so I've replaced the blower motor and put in another resistor just incase the first replacement was faulty.  The issue still exists and the fan only works on level 5 when it decides to kick in.  Where can I try to look now.  Thanks for your input.

Answer
Hi corey:

that car uses 2 fuses I belive for the blower motor. I think Hi speed has it's own fuse? Not 100% sure but I belive it has it. so look at the fuses behind the glove box on the car. If not that then take a look at the connector going into the resistor for any sign of burnt/ melted connetors if so replace the connetor at the resistor. The issue could also be at the HVAC control head in the dash with a burnt connetor. if that is the case ther the fan switch will need to be replace along with the conntor on that side.
