Pontiac Repair: low beams, 1997 pontiac sunfire, pontiac sunfire

hello i am thinking about buying this 1997 Pontiac sunfire for my daughter but the low beams do not work and the high beams do all other lights on the car work just fine what could be the problem

it could be something as simple as 2 bad bulbs but I doubt it. Usually these cars have issues wiuth the forward lamp harness. if you live in the rust belt like I do it's VERY common for that to happen. the easiest fix is to replace the whole harness. the harness is a couple of hundred bucks plus the labot of maybe an hour or 2. If it has low miles on it and it looks like it was well maintained they are pretty good "kids" cars.
