Pontiac Repair: Pontiac Grand Prix - Battery/headlamp problem, pontiac grand prix, battery change

Yesterday my 2002 Grand Prix gave me a slow start......then died.....  

I replaced the battery and lost my day running/headlights.......BOTH of them.....  

The high beam still works......

Has anyone seen this before.......???????

BTW

Lost both lights about two years ago.....at the same time also......(no battery change at that time, just both low beam/day running lamps went out.....

Hey Henry:

well with out seeing this I can't say for sure what the issue is. But who knows you may have burnt out 2 bulbs from a volatge spike. take the head lamp bulb out and use a 12 Volt test light across the hi and then the low beam lamps and see if you have power and ground to that socket for the bulb if you have both Hi and Lo beam inputs to the bulb socket the bulb is bad. If not then you have to look further into it. Good luck :)
