Pontiac Repair: high idle after head gasket r&r, pontiac montana, head gaskets

i just replaced head gaskets on a 01 pontiac montana 3.4 car ran fine until test drive. after test drive van idle went to 2900 rpm, sprayed carb cleaner around intake no change in idle no codes come up for check engine any suggestions?

Try this disconnect the battery and touch the cables together. clean the throttle plate and the iac. reconnect the battery. cycle the keyto run and then off wait a minute cycle it again. wait a minute and then start it up and see what happens. If it's still hi and youhave a scan tool take a look at the TP sensor and the TP % the % should read zero if it's anything but that you have some sort of a TP issue. good luck :)
