Pontiac Repair: no spark condition, engine control module, head lamp

Question
2000 firebird 3.8 V6 Ignition control module and ICM wires check out. New cam and crank sensors. MAP and MAF wires check out. No spark coming from coil packs What could be creating the no spark condition?

Answer
Hi David:

you need a service manual for this car and you need to check the inputs going to the ignition module and find out what input you missing as to the root cause of the no spark condition. Besides the inputs from the engine control module that goto the module you also need a "GOOD POWER AND GROUND" the power feed and ground you should check with a high amperage draw bulb like a halogen head lamp the lamp should be nice and bright when you check the power and the ground to the module. I'm sure it's missing an input and that is why you have no spark output from the coils. Good luck :)
