Pontiac Repair: Grand Prix GXP 2007, grand prix gxp, pontiac grand prix

Question
I have a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP, i went to start it to go to work and the horn started honking, and my driver info center started flashing the following messages: Charging system failure, ABS system failure, Traction control system failure, stable track failure, and a few other things.  What could this be?

Answer
Hi Kyle:

well this can be cause by a lot of things. How is the battery in the car? if the battery in on it's last legs it can cause a lot of issues when trying to start the car. you could have a bad ground connection on the body under the underhood fuse box thoe were noted or corrosion. you coulsd have an issue with one of the moudles in the car all the onboard modules(co0mputers) are inter twined if one module has an issue it can affect multiple modules. You need to see what if any trouble codes are stored in the modules and go from there untill you know what codes are stored it's impossible to say what the issue here is but you need to cover your basics first and foremost lik I said is the battery. good luck :-}
