Pontiac Repair: 2006 pontiac g6 no start, 2006 pontiac g6, pontiac g6

Question
As I stated I have a 2006 Pontiac G6 with the 3.5 and auto. It ran fine in the morning but when leaving work it would not start. I thought that it might need a jump so did that, nothing. The lights, radio, windows, and all of that stuff works fine and I can hear what sounds like that neutral safety switch clicking. I tried to start it in park and in neutral and nothing!! I also checked the fuses and all seem fine under dash and under hood and trunk. Please any help would be greatly appreciated!?!?!?

Hi Jody:
where is the clicking soing comming from? under the dash our outside under the hood. if the noise in under the hood it is more then likley the starte solenoid clicking and if that were the case and the engine will not crank it would be the starter motor is bad. But only if the noise is from the solenoid on top of the strater motor.. has any security lamp come on or flashing?
