Pontiac Repair: Heater Core, pontiac grand prix, heater core

Question
I have a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix Se and i flushed my radiator and replaced the anti freeze about 3 weeks, I noticed the other day that there was a puddle on my floor on the passenger side. I understand that it could be the heater core but the temperature is not rising. Do i need to replace the heater core? Any information would be helpful. Thank you

Answer
Hi Garret:
Yup, It's a heater core leaking. That is the only way you are going to get coolant on the inside of the car. get it fixed now before it runs low on coolant and oveheats the engine. it is a pretty in depth job on that car and really not one for the do it your selfer. Most of the cost is the labor the part is pretty cheap. Good luck :)
