My speedometer stops working after I have been driving for about 1 hour; it will start working again after I stop the car for about an hour. Also, it does not work on cold mornings until I have driven for about 30 minutes. What should I do?

is the speedo the only thing that stops working? does the trnamission shift okay does the cruise control work how about speed controlled volume on the radio? if all those things work okay then it's the speedo cluster it's self that is bad. If the other things I mentioned do not work then you may have an engine control module issue.. My guess is it's just the speedo that is bad it is part of a complete assembly the cluster with the the gauges and indicators has to be replaced. Good luck :)
