Pontiac Repair: Car, headlamp bulb, plastic bracket

Question
I have a Grand Am GT, 2004, 3.4L SFI, my headlight keeps falling out and there is a plastic bracket or something there that is broken, im not sure what it is, or where to find one, i need to know if my whole headlight is no good or if i can just replace the bracket thing, my headlight doesnt stay in at all, i have it chicken wired in to hold it together.

Answer
Hey Rob:

is it just the headlamp bulb that fallout the back of the head lamp of the whole lamp falls out of the car? there is a pastic retainer that holds the bulb in the back of the lamp. if it's thw whole lamp there are 2 metal slide clips that go through slots in the header panel "the pastic piece the complete lamp sits in" and grabs onto the back of the lamp it's self and holds the complete lamp into the car. It may be missing theose clips or they just are not enguaging in the tabs on the back of the lamp that the clips should grab onto. it's a trickey fit but once the are lined up they fall right in to place.
Good luck :)
