my daughters first car well,  decided to pull fuse out of car inside as daughter didnt want her driving off with car being not registered and titled yet so thought i was doing smart thing as daughter wouldnt give key to me...well now put the fuses back in car will not start so decided to try jumping this didnt work as car not dead so we decided to open hood and look at larger fuses 50w big red one and looked blown so replaced that one just to see with another big red one in car same ofcourse well put that fuse and the key was in ignition the darn ignition started to smoke so took that out than went to store bought new 50w fuse and tried to put back in well it popps blows right away when we tried it the first time car turned over but wouldnt start just wondering what is wrong or what do i need to do to fix now....

well you have a short circuit somewhere in the car. If the ignition switch was smoking that is the first place to start looking. There was a recall on this car that involved the ignition switch and "thermal events" call any GM dealership near you and give them the VIN# and they can see if that recall has been done before or not. if it has not This "MAY" be a warranty repair at least the recall part. The short my just be the switch or soemthing else. That is where I would start with this. I don't know what pulling a fuse out and reinstalling it would make this happen but you never know.
