Pontiac Repair: dash lights on 89 trans am, amp fuse, radio wires

my dash lights quit working the 5 amp fuse was blown i thought it was because i was messing around with the radio wires. the fuse fixed it then i checked the radio wires and everything looked ok but then they quit working a week later but the fuse wasnt blown this time what do you think the problem is and do you have a wiring diagram for the dashlight circuit?

Sorry i can't really help you out on diagaram My online servie data only goes back to 1998. do the parking lights work on this car? if not then you have a nother fuse that blew or a headlamp swithc isssue. the parking lights feed the dash lights. You couls have a dimmer switch for the dash lamps that went bad.. The dash backinging is a grey wire. take a look at the headlamp switch and see if yoiu have that output from the swithc to the lights. Good luck :)
