Pontiac Repair: Slight jerk when accelerating, pontiac grand am, transmission flush

Question
Hello. I have a 2000 pontiac grand am 3.4 L V6. Two weeks ago I had a transmission flush done on my vehicle and went on a trip out of town a couple weeks later. When I am going up and incline and giving constant gas, there is a slight jerk of about 200 Rpms. This only happens between 60-70 mph. When given more gas, it will stop. This never happened prior to the flush and was wondering what was possibly causing my problem. Thanks.

Answer
Hi Blaaine:

Well the only thing that I can think of that the 2 would have in common is if the flush was done and the trasnmission was not fully filled up that could be the cause. This trasnmission in this car has a special fill and check proceedure because it doesn't have a dip stick to check the fluid. other then that I don't know what the one could have effected the other. You could have an engine driveability issue here too and that would feel sort of the same way. Has any service engine soon lamp come on? A plugged or restricted fuel filter can have the same feel as a trasnmission issue. Good luck :)
