Question
i have a 1999 grand am 4ci se thats just started to stall out shortly after starting. most times at a stop light, sometimes going down the road has a good battery the float sensor in the fuel tank is not working 100% .the car 128000 mi runs good. what could it be. thanks bruce

Answer
Hi bruce:

well it can be a lot of things.. does it start right back up easily when it stalls out? when  it stalls what happens? does it chug buck and sputter then die? Or is it like someone turnes the key off? It's eithere a spark issue or a fuel delivery issue.. it can be a fuel pump or a crank shaft positioon sensor.. It can be a bad ground wire connection. has any service engine soon lamp come on at all?
