do you know of any potential problems or recalls by GM for this vehicle thanks in advance.

Hi Jim:

There is only one recall I can think of that this car had and it was for a fuel pressure regulator.
As for potential problems thare are a few. upper inatke manifold plenium leaking coolant,wheel bearings/ABS sensors,tie rod ends and a few sperattic electrical things here and there. But all and all thses were good cars when they were in production.
