Pontiac Repair: 2001 Grand Prix Seat Heater issues, grand prix gt, drivers seat

Hi, I have a 2001 Grand Prix GT and my drivers seat heater is working but it sometimes gets too hot and when I turn the car off it will continue to stay on and then runs my battery down even though I have turned the switch off. How can I fix it?? Thanks!

It soulds like the control module for the heater is sticking on. I wouldn't think it possable for it to sat on with the car off but I guess in this case it is??? There is a black plastic module under the seat that looks like a relay that is the control module for the seat heater. when it happens and stays on unplug the module and it should turn off. if so I'd say it's a safe GUESS that's what wrong wrong with this car.
