the winshield wipers stop in the upright position. What should i do?

Hi Eric:

this is a pretty common problem with that car. YOu must live in the cold and snow part of the country. If the wipers are turned on while the blades are frozen to the glass or the wipers have a lot os snow on them and turned on it breaks the wiper park arm. The wiper motor assembly has to be removed and the park armhas to be replaced on the motor. it's the part that connect the motor to the wiperlainkage. Good luck :)
