Pontiac Repair: Mice in 1997 Grand Prix GT, watch cat, heater fan

Any suggestions for where mice might be entering or how to keep them out.  Getting repeat nests in heater fan and evidence of mouse in interior and trunk of car.  Love my car and don't want to have to get rid of it!

Hi Lesa:

They get in through the air inlet door for the heater and a/c system. the only I dea I have is there is a new design cover/shiled for that inlet door that fits the newer style grandprix's from 2004 and up. It will fit your car as well it goes under the cowl where the wiper blades fit. It was neant to keep water out of the heater box it may just be enough of a deturant to keep the mice out but you never know. Good luck :)

On a lighter note you may wnat to get a "watch cat" for the car!
