Question
WHILE DRIVING HOME THE CAR DIES. WAIT FOR ABOUT AN 1 HOUR CAR WILL RESTART RUNS FOR ABOUT 20M MINUTES AND DIES. CKED FUEL PRESSURE STAYS AT ABOUT 35LBS. REPLACED 1 COIL I HAD EXTRA. AND ALSO CONTROL MODULE. I HAD EXTRA. DID NOT CHANGE PROBLEM. ANY IDEA. COULD IT BE CRANK SENSOR OR ECU. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Answer
Hey Ron:

My guess would be a crank shaft sensor. if you have no spark and no injector pulse it's either an ignition control module or a crank sensor. you can check the resistance of the sensor. at the ignition control module the 2 wires for the sensor are purple and yellow. The resistance should be say between 800-1200 Ohms if it's way below or over that a sensor is a good beat other than a bad connection between the module and the sensor. If you check it hot the resistance will be a bit higher but not much. Good luck :)
