Wondering where the transmission sensor at on a 1995 Pontiac Grand Am SE, 3.1 liter motor, located at?

Hi Steven:

what sesnor are you looking for? the output speed sensor for the speedo? Or one of the internal sensors? The only one that is outside the transmission is the output speed sensor and that is attached to the case on the right side of the trasnmission(passenger side) near the axle half shaft in on the back side of the transmission towards the fire wall it has 2 wires on it yellow and purple. all of the other sensors are inside the transission attached to the valve body.
