where is the body control modual located and how do i change it

Hi Kathy:

The body control module is located under the center console in vehicle. It's attached to the back side of the fuse box. The top of the center console has to be removed to gain access to the fusebox and the body module. It's not that bad a job top get to but NOTHING in the van will work when you change it. The new module has to be configured to match the options that the van is equipped with. The module comes from the factory Generic and it has to be set up to match the vehicle it's going into.  the radio,HVAC,power windows,Keyless entry nothing will work. You need to have the module configured at a GM or AC delco dealer that has a GM specific scan tool. Sorry to be the barer of bad news. Good luck :)
