Pontiac Repair: ac on 2000 Grand Prix, rubber elbow, coat hanger

AC is leaking in passenger foot area.  Possible problems/solutions?

Hey Troy:

I assume you mean the condensation "water" is leaking from the a/c system into passenger side floor. The problem is the drain for the heater box if plugged. It is a drain the goes through the fire wall from inside the car to outside of the car. it's on the right side of the car down towards the bottom of the fire wall about 3-4" up from the floor pan. there should be a little rubber elbow "black" attached to the drain pull the elbow off and stick a coat hanger in the hole and try to dislodge what ever is stuck in the drain. Ther may even be something stuck in the elbow as well take a look and see. Good luck :}
